CASEY

Dear Casey, you and I had sixteen years together from 1996 to 2012. We started our time together on the farm. You loved going on the horse rides and chasing squirrels up trees, you also were active in chasing any deer or moose that came into the farm yard.

You had a very unusual coat with your long mane like hair on your shoulders and the shepherd coat underneath. You were the most faithful companion a person could have ever asked for. You were not an aggressive dog towards people or other dogs, you had a very gentle spirit, and those big gentle trusting eyes.

We have been through lots of good and bad times together, and I could always count on you to be there for me. Old age certainly hits us all and I hope that you are not suffering any more. Until we meet again dear friend and companion, you will always be with me.
