MALIBU

January 29th, 2008 – April 15th, 2016

Malibu will be greatly missed but always cherished by her whole family. Her family consisted of humans, two more dogs and 3 cats and several fish. Malibu went by many names, Mal, Bu, BuBu, Smellabu and SmellyMelly.

She was a loving companion to all entered her life, human or animal. Her favorite pass times where playing with her puppy, or playing ball. She loved to bounce and chase bubbles. She always thought she wanted in the pool to swim but quickly changed her mind once in. She loved long walkabouts in the bush but I honestly believe her favorite thing was vehicle trips.

I don’t know if it was the trip she loved, or the one on one time, or the hamburger she would get on her outings she loved more. Malibu was also a Diva. She loved her pretty collars, or her Christmas bows and sweaters. She loved to go out for Halloween and she thrived on being told what a pretty girl she was. She loved sleeping in bed or rather hogging blankets and the bed. She was a true cuddler and whether you were a human or animal you were getting a snuggle by her.

She would let you know when it was 8pm and her (snack) treat time. She always seemed to know what you were talking about. I would ask her where’s the fish she would smack the fish tank. You would ask her where something is and she would run to it in an instant whether it be a human animal or toy. She was truly a treasure in our family. She is so sadly missed but fondly remembered. One day I hope to remember her without the flow of tears.
